Problem Statement

Problem Statement

TPMS has required a scalable enterprise management system that would present the following capabilities:

  • • Support synchronized planning and execution in all the business locations.
  • • Improve the on-time delivery metrics and maximize the overall system throughput.
  • • Promote the theory of constraints (TOC) principles to bring the teams together and facilitate better decision-making.
  • • Equip the top management with instructions to coach underlings daily and push for organizational growth.
  • • Enable dynamic planning, pooling of resources, and monitoring execution.
Project Overview

Project Overview

TPMS needed a full enterprise management solution that could enable planning and execution efficiency, effective real-time cross-departmental and location collaboration, and increased overall throughput. The organization required a system that not only supported the TOC principle but also empowered leadership to coach teams as part of their daily routine.

Quickway Infosystems created a web-based and mobile-based scheduling software for heavy industry using Kendo jQuery, .NET Core, NHibernate, and MAUI. The system supported top-down engagement that enabled managers to coach subordinates and align daily actions with strategic goals. This ripple effect throughout the organization helped TPMS better manage urgent and critical tasks, sustaining implementation success while improving throughput and delivery metrics

Solution Implementation

Quickway Infosystems adopted the structured implementation approach to make sure that our clients are provided with performance, utility, and real business value:

Requirement Analysis
01

Requirement Analysis

Collaborated with stakeholders to understand scheduling issues, reporting needs, and cross-functional gaps. Emphasized alignment with TOC and created systemized workflows for daily operations—a hallmark of any robust custom scheduling system for manufacturers.

Design and Prototyping
02

Design and Prototyping

Developed a user-friendly configurable interface with responsive grid, role-based access, and dashboard views for a different set of users (managers, team leads, schedulers). Prototypes for designing were presented to the key users so that they could provide early reviews for better usability and a rapid onboarding process.

Development
03

Development

Developed engineered web and mobile platforms using .NET Core and MAUI, as well as dynamic front-ends with the use of Kendo jQuery. We implemented TOC logic in execution buffers, planning sequences, and priority of tasks. The development process focused on flexibility and performance to process enterprise-level scheduling and reporting jobs.

Testing
04

Testing

Carried out unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) through different departments to ascertain usability, scalability, and compatibility with prior ERP and project systems. Test cases were made consistent with real-life use scenarios to test the solution under normal workload settings.

Deployment & Launch
05

Deployment & Launch

Achieved the effective rollout of the TPMS system into all the sites. Daily usage and coaching features were trained for teams. Post-launch monitoring made it possible to guarantee the smooth and efficient operation of all modules. A phased rollout strategy was employed to minimize operational disruptions and ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

Maintenance & Support
