Solution Implementation

Our team took a methodical approach to the development of a next-generation B2B digital platform in the utilities space. All phases were intended to make the procurement simple, allow collaboration, and help build trust between utilities and providers.

platform
01

Platform Onboarding

Utilities put in place profiles, selected areas of focus, e.g., AMI, GIS, cybersecurity, and were trained on digital RFx tools. Providers were able to create business profiles, they could upload their case studies, they were able to configure their targeting preferences to present their offerings.

Medicine and Price Management
02

Digital RFx Tools

Introduced guided RFP, RFI, and RFQ templates with evaluation scoring. The centralized dashboards allowed collaboration among the team members to be seamless, and the digital invitation and managing a response with the vendors made it easy to get a vendor to attend.

Global Control
03

Vendor Discovery/ Matching

Constructed a smart affinity rating system based on size, geography as well and infrastructure type. The process of review and recommendation by peers made the process more transparent, and the more sophisticated search filters and auto-matching linked the utilities to the most suitable providers.

Testing and Validation
04

Testing

Tested in various validation activities with utility stakeholders and vendors to improve the RFx workflows, vendor discovery algorithms and collaborative dashboards. People were provided with feedback to make sure the processes were transparent, intuitive, and safe.

Deployment & Launch
05

Deployment

Rolled out the platform in stages, with a focus on real-time feedback to improve usability. The introduction occurred in a gradual way, which made it possible to optimize the dashboards, invitations of vendors, as well as discovery tools, without any problems in terms of adoption.

Maintenance & Support
06

Support & Maintenance

Developed structured long-term support, including monitoring the performance, updating, and upgrading of its features. The streamline of workflows and analytics was continuously optimised, which resulted in increased adoption, shorter procurement, and more vendor confidence.

Results & Achievements

The platform provided the quantitative ability to assess the impact on utilities, providers and advisory support and user satisfaction. Not just streamlining the procurement cycles, it also enhanced the availability of greater collaboration, transparency, and adoption across the whole ecosystem.

Streamlined Medicine Management
01

Accelerated Procurement of Utilities

Utilities saw a decrease in procurement cycles via informed RFx processes, with peer discussions & clearer assessments supporting data-supported procurement decisions, reducing risk & enhancing confidence in vendor selection.

Improved Control over Management
02

Better Visibility

Vendors saw their sales cycles reduced and greater visibility of their place within the utilities ecosystem. Through presenting/demonstrating verified case studies and peer-supported references, providers were better positioned and more attractive to interested buyers.

Real-Time Forecasting
03

Trusted Advisory Support

Experienced Guidance to simplify procurement reviews and marketing plans to minimize risk to both the utilities and vendors. The advisory level was having balanced and credible decisions with improved long-term results for the stakeholders.

Profitability
04

User Satisfaction

The portal had a high rate of user adoption by utilities & providers who had consistently continued feedback that was overwhelmingly positive. Improved collaboration software & the openness of the processes established a highly trustworthy environment & the user base was distinguished by the exceptional level of trust & enduring shared interests.

Better Transparency
05

Increased Cooperation

Utilities actively utilized peer review of reviews, detailed case studies, and fully transparent scoring mechanisms that consistently led to utilities collaborating, learning together, sharing best practices, and creating stronger, long-term partnerships, thus effectively minimizing siloed decision-making within the industry.

Scalable Global Adoption
06

Scalability Procurement Ecosystem

The combination of cloud-based architecture and automated workflows made the platform highly scalable to support the various utility needs and the multiple types of vendors. It could support the multiple varieties of vendors and deliver performance, security, and reliability across global geographies.
