Perplexity AI is now available directly on WhatsApp, allowing users to access its AI-powered answering service without downloading a separate app or signing up.
This update comes just a few days after Srinivas asked users if they would like to use Perplexity natively on WhatsApp.
It is worth noting that the Perplexity chatbot is also available on Telegram under the name “askplexbot,” and on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Similar to Perplexity, users can also access ChatGPT on WhatsApp, along with the natively integrated Meta AI.
This integration allows users to access Perplexity’s capabilities within the widely used messaging platform.
Unlike downloading the native Perplexity app, where users need to sign up, with WhatsApp integration, users can start using the service immediately without requiring any sign-up or login.
This move aims to make AI answer bots more accessible to users worldwide, especially in regions where WhatsApp is a primary communication tool.
